New Ebooks on Overdrive!

Great news! Hundreds of new books have been added to Frisco ISD's online digital library. Students/parents/teachers can checkout books via Overdrive 24/7 from home and school at http://friscoisd.lib.overdrive.com.

For a fun and free reading experience, checkout an ebook on your computer, kindle account, phone, or iPad ASAP!

Have you tried Overdrive?

New for 2011-2012, Frisco ISD now has ebooks and audiobooks available for download from Overdrive. You might have tried Overdrive from the public library before, our school library collection works just the same.

Overdrive allows all schools to connect and share digital books in one place. Use your FISD library id number to download ebooks (in kindle or pdf format) or audiobooks (as wma or mp3 files) to your computer, kindle, smart phone or e-reader.

Students and parents can check out two elementary level items at a time for two weeks. Teachers can check out two items from any level. All FISD schools share the same Overdrive collection, so if a book you want isn't available just be patient - place a hold or put it on your wish list and try again later.

Download the Overdrive App to search for free books to checkout on your phone or visit the Overdrive website to download books straight to your computer at http://friscoisd.lib.overdrive.com/.

Overdrive can be a little tricky the first time you try it. Don't give up - it is well worth the setup time!
Use the help features on the Overdrive site or ask Mrs. Hamilton or Mrs. Hodges for help.
