Summer Reading Bucket List

It's the last day of school and we had another great year here at the Purefoy Library. We have 14,743 books in our collection, an increase of 772 new books. Over 44,716 books were checked out by 715 students - that's 63 checkouts per student. Plus, 1,066 classes visited the library for research, book talks, read-alouds, author studies and more. That's not even counting the dozens of kids that come to the library on their own everyday. Though it keeps up extra busy, it's wonderful to work at a school where the students, parents, and teachers place such a high value on reading!

Now, it's time to make plans for summer reading. Check out this great reading bucket list from No Time for Flashcards for inspiration. What reading goals are on your bucket list?
I'm planning to read in the car, read on a mountain in Colorado, and read on a river's edge this summer. Where will you be found reading this summer? Have fun!
