Let's Read all 20 2x2 Books!
The 2x2 Reading List is a project of the Texas Library Association created to highlight great books for early readers. A committee of Texas librarians develop a collection of 20 new books recommended for children from age two to grade two to be featured on the reading list each year.
It's easy to join in the fun - just read or listen to all 20 books on the current 2x2 reading list at home, at school, or in the library. Keep track of reading by completing a coloring boot and return it to the library to have your name added to the wall of fame. Look for the parent-child activity labels inside each book for reading activity ideas too. Multiple copies of 2x2s are available at the Purefoy Library and Frisco Public Library.
Which 2x2 will you read first?
