Good Book of the Week: The Red Pyramid

 Since his mother's death six years ago, Carter Kane has been living out of a suitcase traveling with his father an Egyptologist. Meanwhile, his sister has been living with their grandparents in London. Each sibling wishes they had the life of the other. On Christmas Eve, their father takes them to the British Museum where they learn about their family's link to a secret order of pharaohs after their father disappears in a fiery explosion caused by a mysterious figure that he has summoned. With the awakening of a frightening god, Sadie and Carer must find a way to save their father. Suggested for grades 4-9.
